Marshall MGII

hi, bear with me, i'm submitting the review soon... 8)

in brief:

*above average performance (compared to the normal, non-stacked version)

*more bass response, thanks to closed-back cabs

Hmmm.... this microstack actually DOES look REALLY nice. :) I mean... its a stack!! More impressive than that marshal mini stack if you know what I mean. ;)

Still going @ $350 right?

btw, Sub, have you noticed any change in tone of the newer shipment of MGIIs?

Reason being, if the MGII is related to the MG series... I had an old MG30DFX (first amp) and it sounded really good, most of my stuff online was recorded with that MG30DFX line in to my computer... then after 2 yrs, it died and I set it to Davis. It came back with a replaced electronics and it sounded like those fuzzy MG15/MG30 you hear nowadays. Utter crap and I sold it off.

ok here's my Marshall mini stack- that's exactly how big/ tall it is...

Cow: nope. have not tried Marshalls for quite some time already, will make it a point this weekend. any models to check out?

Hmmm... Well, do compare your personal MGII to the new ones. Davis told me a couple mths back they were bringing in new stock of the MGII. Do the new ones sound worse/better/same than the old one (yours).

Just want to know if what happened to my MG30DFX is an isolated case. :)
