Marshall MG15FX

the microstack features reverb & a 10" driver while the MG15DFX is reverbless & has a smaller 8" driver. these are crucial differences in terms of tone. on-board effects does not make the amp more preferred tone-wise.

Oh come on... What I meant was that is there a possibility that this model is so lousy as to not get any kinds of reviews or even mentioning in even major websites.

If you did your research, you will know that this product has not been out for less than a month. Go figure where I am going with this.

Thanks. Will take another trip down to the guitar shops and take a look at this model.

Is the MG15 MSII the same as the MG15FXMS accept that there are more onboard effects for the latter?

IMO, onboard effects are bad. One more thing to go kaput. I have never liked any onboard effects since their capabilities are somewhat limited. I would never spend any money for onboard effects.

OTOH, the Pathfinder 15R is a pretty good amp for the price. I like it more than the MG15 or the Cube 30. I'm not sure if you want to go down the road of no return but some of the cheaper tube amps might be around your budget.
