I used to have one when i was in sec 2, that was like, man, 4 years ago. no channel switching then, just one channel with gain control. Played through an Aria Strat with 112 pup config. Can't really remember how it sounds like now. Thought it sounded godlike then, cus i've never even heard anything else and my knowledge of guitar and tones etc. was pretty shallow.
Then one day it started humming. so I sold it away. Wanted to get an Ibanez 25R, cus my teacher used a Johnson 25 watt amp and i thought that sounded amazing, so must use smth with 25 watts!
In the end my dad went to get the amp, and he got me the TB50R instead. cus 'the jump from 15 to 25, and 25 to 50 watts makes the 50 watter more value for money'. Dad's reasoning the best la. like buying hard disk or something. But i enjoyed.
Then I sold it cus I didn't really need something so huge and i needed the cash. Now with my microcube
more than a year already. lookin around for something new though.
