Makeover for my PGM3 (blue/pink) questions!

Hi
Recently intend to make my current guitar PGM3 the blue/pink f-holes to look more like the PGM100RE!

However the blue/pink colour might be too dull as compared to the newer reissued version, is there anyway to repaint the body? Is the factory finishing reversible? If so, do you know any shops in Singapore that provide this service?

It was a modded pgm3, with killswitch (sadly a great mistake to make this mod to me because it leaves a cavity!). I dunno if it's possible to fill the cavity, and paint it, i noe it may not look nice but still in the process of collecting opinions.

I would like to change the bridge as well. Previous modded by the previous owner to a golden Gotoh bridge and I would like to change it bac to Ibanez edge/ if it sounds stupid to you, alternatively, is there anyway to remove the rust on the gotoh bridge and get a new paint job on it(from gold to black)?

Would like to buy new screws for my guitar as well. (any ideas whr i can get screws for my ibanez pgm3?

Help please! thanks!

Refin- Guitar77 @ $200+++
Fill up the killswitch hole- Buy those woodchips or wood fillers. Forgot what they're called. Daiso has though.
Changing- Whatever floats your boat, mate... Change if you wanna. Paint, can also.
Guitar screws- Most guitar shops. Offhand, i can remember TYMC, Byleft, Guitar Connection, Ranking and Guitar Workshop

Thanks for that information!
may I noe abt the quality of refinishing at guitar77?
Do you know if there is any place that supply ibanez parts as well such as (tremolo, necks, etc)?
These bloody pink dimarzio pickups are costing me a lot as well (might as well save all the trouble and get a new pgm100re but damn, it's just too ex!)
Is there anywhr possible i can get everything done while manage to get some discounts off it? ;)
everything: repainting of bridge and body, filling up the killswitch hole, remove killswitch/n-tune, replace neck, and replace pickups.

u could try asking g77, they do custom stuff so im assuming that they can do the stuff that u asked..

can't help u on the ibanez parts tho, not sure who the dealers are.

i think u shd keep the killswitch/ n-tune tho. saves u the trouble of filling the cavity and it could be useful in the future as well, esp if the reason for u wanting to change is purely cosmetic. Also, if the gotoh bridge is similar to the edge III or better u could keep it too. thats just my point of view tho.

In Singapore, everyone deals Ibbys. SV, SL, Music Theme... You spend enough, you get discounts. Rule of thumb, never ask for discounts. Makes you seem cheapskate. Ibanez parts generally fit the mould, so generic parts will fit an Ibby's body. AFAIK, there's never been any complaints, so the quality must be decent, or at the very least, passable. Pink? Get pink covers then. Keep your pups, get pink covers.

im not sure what is the model name of the gotoh bridge yeah, it was alr modded by someone else. as well as the pickups.. Is it possible to bring my guitar there and request if they can identify the parts' model for me?? I tried but hoenstly, they just look the same to me online.
on the other hand, yeah, i wud want to change one too! just for a different tone that suits me better. and N-tune doesnt have pink! :(

anyone knows the specific colour code for the pgm100re? i have been searching all over and cldnt get one satisfying answer (they just mentioned abt jewel blue and pink f-holes and cosmo black hardwares. Is it possible to request for these exactly the same?), or maybe i shud retain the colour for the sake of uniqueness (there is no way to be exactly the same anyway).
for the neck i wanted one with a sharktooth inlay, it was the original pearl inlay no idea if it cld be changed.

Regarding painting of the bridge, is it recommended? does it affect anything or wil it be scrapped off easily? (as compared to the originals)
last one, will extensive modification affect the guitar negatively?

SORRY for so many questions! haha just wanna be sure of what im doin. thanks for these replies mate rock on.

i realise my bridge is the gotoh ge1996t, but i dunno how to compare it with other bridges like the edge zero. it's gold plated, possible to repaint it to the cosmo black?

just google the specs for the 2 bridges u want then compare, thats what i would do anw. u can search on other forums also..

Sure can paint to black, the only problem is whether it will affect your guitar haha. not sure of the type of paint and what will/ wont work.

The best is to find 1 day to go down to G77 and other stores to ask for a quote and whether they can do what u want, they can also give u advice on what u shd do. u can also compare services and prices while you're at it which we can't give u..

Can, you have money can already. New neck = 100 plus. Redoing the fretboard will cost more.
Paint bridge, if you want la. It won't affect.
Your guitar won't be affected unless you drill into the wood. Or if you use ultra ultra ultra thick coats of paint, that will hamper its resonance. Unnecessary modification will only cost you alot of money...
