having used preamps from all the 3 brands mentioned - i'd go with the m-audio for your purposes.

m-audio pres are probably the cleanest of the 3 - i like the presonus ones too but the former are slightly more transparent. at this price point though the differences are pretty negligible though. except the tascams - they just suck ass

Where to buy Presonus Audiobox or m-audio in Singapore, will these audio interface units works with yamaha DTX700 for recording?

xxkiwi : If you are recording DTX700 via its audio ,then any audio interface with a 1/4" jack line input will work. if you're recording via its MIDI , if i didn't read wrong, there's a USB that you can plug in directly which you can record your playing. and trigger through a drumsampling software in the DAW.
