luthermusic store very messy?

some people find it easier to find stuff in messy areas..
after the swee lee makeover/renovation..i'm pretty much disoriented so hmm i basically dun go there anymore

You shouldn't feel weird going into a music store, especially Luthermusic. Jeez the man's just about the friendliest in the business, no way would he make you feel weird.

yeah the shops messy but who cares. metal = messy

I hate going into stores, especially when there isnt much people and the shop person watches me..and coz im noob at guitars i feel uncomfortable.

luther's place you can pick up a $2000 guitar to try out and they won't give you that look at you of "ARE YOU SURE YOU CAN AFFORD THAT?"

In fact I've hesitated picking up some of the guitars there before and he encourages me to pick up and play.

"Just take and try, don't buy never mind one, take ,take!"

"Just take and try, don't buy never mind one, take ,take!"

+1

haha, that works for them though, methinks its a special top secret sales strategy! imagine....

kid strolls into store with dad and bro. kid goes up to this cij reissue tele, and exclaims, "WHOA!" luther goes something like up there, and dad tells bro to test. bro tests, dad gets blown away, guitar is sold for a thousand bucks. and dumb noobish fruitwine gets a new 1k guitar.

about mikemann's studio, woohoo! love the place. lol, heres a description for anyone who would bother reading :D

1. walk outside warehouse, see the sign,"diode computers" then u go, huh? computers? did i get the wrong place?
2. walk in, decide u not at wrong place. u see amp upon amp stacked all along the side, mostly old vintage looking things.
3. left has a small glass cabinet of efx and stuff. then behind that is mike's workroom, table cluttered with potentiometers, screwdrivers, stuff. guitars hanging off the wall.
4. walk a little bit more, see his studios. white walls, big smarvo amps everywhere, drum set. woohoo!

its like, the mess gives u a sense of welcome. if things are all straight lines and order, sometimes u feel a lil outta place.

btw, i went to luther the other day. heck, i don't really care if the place is in shambles, the shop keepers are always so friendly :D

i just feel weird to want to go in there..

It's probably the first shop I'll step into among all the shops at peninsula. Among the shops in S'pore, in fact.

And it's definitely not messy! It's not like everything's scattered all over - there's that wall for the guitars, half for electric guits and basses, and the other half for acoustic guitars. Below are the amps. Effects and mixers can be seen either near the counter or at the window. Keyboards are placed near the window as well. Cables at the pillar.

Messy? I think the lack of space just makes it look that way.

And Luther's about the friendliest shopowner you can find. ;) He helps when he can, too.

Luther's place is not messy, it is neater than my room  As for not findin the things they posted on their website, u can always ask them if they can bring them in, they are the friendliest people on earth. I mean their space is small, they cant have everything.

As for mike's studio, like fruitwine, the first time I go there I thought it was wrong place, cos saw the Diode Computer Sign. A lot of things in his place, but his studio is pretty neat and well maintained and free skyjuice too!

luther been one of my most comfortable guitar shops around. at least i dun get those eyes. their shop is like my house,i can browse around with ease. unless some guitar shops, with eyes looking me. juz becos im wearing slippers and short pants doesnt mean tat i cant afford
