anyway they are local band, but they didnt play local type of music.. 8)

i hear lots of band copy xjapan solo style... one fo them was SADIST...which their song exactly xjapan influence... 100%
 
i juz thinks that e recording sux... totally destroyed how wonderful it sounded that nite live.. anyway the superband contestances are all very poor thing.. look at those jack neo program.. anyhow malu urself get a few hundred bucks back le.. all in 1 night! den compare again to superband contestances.. instead of winning something(esp top 4).. they got nothing! when you think milubing is enjoying.. rumour said that warner aint gonna pay them due to certain contract reason! So it is more like being make fun of! Somemore they must accept being suan by many others! like some in soft.. those that suan them in soft are only a small group! imagine the impact they are suffering man.. argh.. feel sorry for them..

yeah from what i heard is due to stuff like student, army... they are given a no recording contract with no money.. stuff may change for them but the rest are totally dead... maybe 1 mth later you ask ppl you know who are soul,lucify n j3.. they will har??

oh well... this proves abit like no matter what music you play in singapore, you cant get far.. correct me if i'm wrong.. anyway i still feel injustice for all the contestants... idiotic mediawhore..

Lol bro I think you're a little harsh on us, or local musicians. Put it this way, whatever you do(drop music as the main topic for now), there ought to be people jealous of you and bitch about you.

Rather than bitching online, why not go out be a better J rock band and show people what "REAL JROCK" is about? It's pretty much the same outside of internet anyway, so it doesn't make a difference.

My advice? Rather than complaining, go do something. If people like Lucify can do it, I'm sure people who think they're better can get 1st liao? Ho Ho Ho. Merry Augustmas baby.

Such programmes are made for ENTERTAINMENT in the first place. Not meant to be taken that seriously as an all-music only show. Yes, it's good exposure for local chinese bands. But that's about it. Like any other band competition out there, no competition can give guaranteed returns for the bands. If the label likes your style and decides to sign you, then good for you. If not, it's up to yourself to do something about it.

People will talk, bitch, gossip. Nothing you can do about it. Why else do tabloids and gossip magazines sell like hotcakes? It's part and parcel of the entertainment industry. Get on with it :)

its jus a popularity contest, the only happy ppl are the organisers and telcos laffing their way to the bank.
