LTE Paradigm Shift Video Cover

wah this is my likely future boss.... guess he keep playing guitar during office hour thats why he can play that well... Keep it up boss

Hello Dave... well practised cover I see?

I thought the guitar/eq/efx/amp sound didn't complement your playing and the piece in general. It sounds thin and didn't really sit well in the mix.

The sound reminded me of Dave Mustaine's tone... its chuggy and tight alright but when doing solos, you got to have absolutely spot on picking / fretting hand co-ordination. Right now, that co-ordination is spotty at best.

I think you should do some pickup selection changes during the song too. Sounds like you were on the bridge humbucker thru out.

thanks for the note dan, yea, i think the original has wah and pickup changes.. :( . but i dunno how to use that

nice job on the tricky time changes.
as ive said, im not really a fan of this kind of music anymore, so i'm biased, but good job nonetheless in learning this kind of intricate music. most people wouldn't have the patience or commitment to do this.

rhythm tone (as shredcow mentioned!) is good, tight, and suitable.
add some more volume and mids for the lead melody/higher register notes. maybe add a booster pedal or something, just so that the higher notes stand out better (against the heavy power-chordal-type rhythms and complex drumming).

nice playing david, good in the pocket type playing, which is really tough. as with everything and every musicians, theres always room for improvement, but i can see/hear great improvement from last time. nice use of laney amp!. sweet

good job pal. 8)
