Ltd EC500 vs EC1000

remy - hmmss....I doubt as I have yet to come across an Eclipse Standard that comes with emg's but i may be wrong though. But wat's wrong with seymours? They sound kickass as well and you can save a lot on batteries. 9v batts are not cheap you know. but i'm more of an active pup person.
azL-128 - I know that I've approached the shop in woodlands (standard value I think?) and he has offered me the service before back then. But I'm not sure if he still does it now though. You could always give him a call....

Be prepared to pay more. Remember that davis does not charge their customers for shipping thats why the long wait. And don't forget tax as well....
So if you are getting the EC500 and you found someone that offers ordering in, ask for the total amt then do the math. sometimes, its cheaper to order in an ESP from davis instead but you gots tah be patient with the wait.
+1 to Davis. They have never let me down even on a bad day...
ps: I don't work there if you guys are wondering.....

I say the EC1K ftw. btw, I think it would be cheaper to get it at davis cause when I got my dad's friend to buy mine, I paid $1,450.
but if you're an impatient bugger like me, get someone to buy ftw. otherwise, davis is the best alternative. mine came in with super bad set up and stuff.

U must be an abalone person. i prefer mine to look more vintage. the ec1k would look funny if i play my viking metal. other then that, it is a solid guitar from wat i know.
wat can i say, looks does matter to me in some way....
must...find.....another...versatile...guitar..in....the.....looks...department...
