yo hi...
er..i got question regardin the bridge.....i know how to adjust the height..but e question is...the following pics...there's 2 bars rite..on the right side(e 1 one tat slip the string in) how to determine the height tat it shd b?...coz the main tat affect the strings height is the 1 on the left instead of right..so..i got no idea how shd the height b for the bar at the right side...er..does it make any different if i reduce the height all e way down..?!

the next question is regardin the truss rod....will truss rod break very very easily?!?! as in...jus a slight turning to c e differeces... n also...wat size of alan key shd i get for epiphone LP standard?...

kindly let me know ya..
thx thx!

i haf the same bridge as you
the right bar is called the stop tail-piece
i now have it all the way down
i think the height of the strings aka the action is determined by the tune-o-matic
hope this helps

oic....okok..perhaps i'll jus put it all e way down to make thing simple...
thx for the input...!!!
cheers!

While you are at it (lowering down the stop tail), try to make sure the strings are sitting on the saddles and not touching the edge of the bridge. Hope this helps (Rep point from you for enlightenment). <wink>

sub bro, does it realli enhance your sustain if strung stings tat way? (in your own opinion).ive strung it tat way b4 and the strings are hard to bend...and also.Btw for the T.O.M bridge, isit neccessary for the screws to be facing in (Bridge p.u) instead of out (stop tail bridge)?

wow..thx a lot for all inputs..tat's so great...

but..regardin my 2nd question for the alan key thingy...any input?...

thx in advance..!

The truss rod does not break easily, unless over tighten at a time.

Turn not more than a quarter turn each time, tune the string and check the neck. Repeat process if needed.

You must know what you are doing to prevent damage to your guitar.

Not sure about epi lp alley bolt size, get a set of metric alley keys size from 1mm and up. One will fit the size.
