Hi everyone,
We are on the lookout for a jazz keyboardist and bassist. Our current members have time conflicts, so we are ready to welcome new members.
Quick overview of who we are:
-Our core group comprises a lead guitar, drummer, saxophone and vocals
-We practice once every fortnight, would like players who can commit to such a schedule
-Our instrumental repertoire is modern fusion/funk jazz; our vocals repertoire is more chill jazz standards. Song list looks like this:
Instrumentals: Night Rhythms (Lee Ritenour), Pick up the Pieces (AWB), Put it where you want it (Larry Carlton), Catching the Sun (Spyrogyra)
Vocal: Summertime, So Nice, Getaran Jiwa, Besame Mucho etc
We are looking for committed folks who are able to make it to regular practice jams (currently, it's every fortnight). Hope to find players who like and can play contemporary/modern jazz.. We are relatively new as a band. In time to come, who knows, we hope to perform somewhere when we are playing well as a team! Finally, we are just a bunch of nice people who enjoy music and like team dynamics to be simple and uncomplicated!
