Looking for Guitar Tutor/Guitar Lessons

Hey folks, I just moved to Singapore and would like to learn funk style and blues style in electric guitar. Could you guys recommend me a guitar tutor or facility to go? Or there are two guitar shops around my place where are Swee Lee and Yamaha. Do you think is it good to go for lessons on Swee Lee? Thanks.
