i'm looking for a drummer who:
1. is able to keep a beat.
2. can play something other than 4/4 but also understands the importance of it
3. understands dynamics. (e.g soft = whisper , loud = a380, etc)
4. ability to apply said dynamics quickly and accurately.
5. is musically open-minded.
also, if you play like you're dancing that would be nice, but not required.
i sing and play guitar, write songs.
i like mike patton, radiohead, mbv, fall of troy, at the drive in, brand new, arcade fire, elliott smith, beatles, yo la tengo, fugazi, sonic youth, the strokes and more.
but. i don't want to make music in any type of vein in particular, we can figure that out when we play.
