i've heard MIA ones are realli expensive. i dont realli have a huge budget. the MIM i tried was $900 on the tag prolly with a discount itd be $800+. is there any significant difference between MIM MIJs and MIAs? and are the differences so great that the price gap is so far apart?.

last time i tried MIM...and i thought 'wtf,why fender so famous?where's the famous feel,i feel nothing' .... but when i tried MIJ 'shit,this fender feel' i feel like bringing the bass home straightaway sia....
the MIJ that i tried has satin finish neck,i prefer satin compared to lacquered,lacquered always give me that 'stuck' feeling...don like them

i didnt see any MIJs in sweelee, luther has MIJ?. their shop abit. ahem. i go in like see...... like... its... so... disorienated. where else got a huge range of MIJs?. my fren say penisular, but i see davis dont ahve, G77 only got like 3 and all MIA.

last time i bought mine from luther,i think luther is more to renting equipment la...
other than luther is G77 and davis[when they happen to have 1]....G77 have MIJ catalog,you can put deposit and wait for the goods to come,just try the one they have first la,no choice man...

ic, i tried swee lee's MIA jazz, the neck i realise was thinner then the MIM's P bass. which personally to me made it easier to play cos of my small hands.

by satin are you referring the matt finish then to the shiny one on the neck?

Jazz necks are thinner than Precision necks...

jazz neck has smaller nut width compared to precision
jazz has same nut width as sterling ...same goes to stingray n precision...only same nut width,nth more,feel of coz totally diff la

i tot so. alot of ppl said bb614 can. but i play with the EQ play how also can't get the jazz tone. it didnt even come close to the MIA i tried at swee lee.
