Hello. Sorry if im posting this in the wrong place. Kinda looks the closest to my topic anyways.

Im lookin for an electric guitar teacher. I stay in hougang and im a beginner guitarist wanting to learn more and get better. Im interested to playing metal music. I try to learn myself but the sounds out of my amp really turn me off and kill the desire and motivation. So im seeking help. If anyone is interested in teaching me please do message me or call me at 93869159.

Thanks :)

hmm well um..so how do i put up my recordings again?
and who is james..sorry kinda new here
Is there a music school on this site?
Also are those online websites wih claims of mastering the guitar in 30 days real or a rip off?

i see..well um this is how i kinda sound..except with alot less of hitting wrong notes during the whole recording...made it when i got my boss MT-2 abt 1yr ago...havent touched my guitar for so long...picking it up again...going to try and learn sweet child of mine till i can find someone to coach me...

just give ur utmost honest comments..
think got any hope? any potential haha
i know it sucks..so just be honest ya

if u wanna improve ur rhythm.. i suggest tht u listen to more of the rhythm chops in a metal album and try to imitate the pattern of how the guitarist strum.. or rather play.. listen to bands like metallica.. stratovarius.. iron maiden.. if u wan some heavy yet melodic.. u can try in flames... to me they have one hell of melody and great guitar playing.. and try to listen to wat chords tht they are playing.. find it out..

yeh i like some of metallica and iron maiden..but stratovarius not heard b4...i know fade to black has a chord for the starting parts rite..but i dunno what it is..and it already seems so hard to play the intro..bleh...

THere is this Guy, Paul Dust, in Singapore that I thought was a really good teacher. Try finding him. I've lost touch with the ppl who once studied under him. Trust me, learn with him and u won't regret it. That is if he is still teaching lar...ehehehe.. Anyone who got the contact of Paul Dust, please share with this nice chap! ;)

erm its paul dass or paul daniel.

i learnt under him for abit.. but he is unfortunately too busy...
haizz great player man .woot. respect.

Dude...

Buy some guitar cd's and books and start to find who's your fave's guitar player and start to imitate your role model...and then suddenly you realize you already wrote a guitar composition. Juzz keep on play and have fun with your axe!

Good Luck, Dude!

haven really thought abt whos my fav guitar player...but i prob wud have to say that metallica guy..cus i feel hes really good and he can play stuff that makes me feel like playing too...and prob the iron maiden guitarists too...to me they all look like huge skyscrapping towers..how am i ever gonna reach up to their lvl when im still trying to get off the 1st floor u get what i mean?i dont even know where i stand or anything...pretty much at a loss and the nasty sounds fr the amp kills e spirit of ever reaching up there...sigh :(
