Logic Audio 4 - audio recording thing

Anyone familiar with Logic Audio 4? I´m new to it and need some help on it.



I´ve already have few audio tracks on various channels and now I´m trying to record a new audio track. Everytime I try to record the new audio (the other audio tracks playing simultaneously), it will also record the playing tracks together in the new track. I have check all the recording options but a still can´t get it to record the new audio track ONLY. So how to do it? Already read the guides but can´t figure out anything.

dude you need to configure the rec option to the line inputs if not it´s going to record everything that plays thru the card.

I really love Logic Audio interface (GUI), it looks very much like the real mixer/recorder! That´s why I´m trying hard to use it!

Did you mute the other tracks when you were recording? Cos some programs play them together when they are on the same timeline.

Or try use "solo switches" or correct the line input setup.
