Hey guys,
If you're in a local band, which I'm assuming most all of us are that's why we're HERE heh, and you want your songs to be heard on 987FM radio, just contact me and I'll have a listen yeah? I'm not working for them directly but I'll help you guys forward the songs through the appropriate channels and hopefully you'll hear it on the radio in the new future.
987 is wonderfully dedicated to promoting local music and they're always looking for new material to play for the public. There are obviously some basic requirements though!
1) No demo quality recordings.Everything has to be decently to excellently produced by a sound engineer.
2) No cursing or saying fuc*k ops did I spell it out.
3) It has to obviously be relatively radio friendly, so no 15 minute Dream Theaterish epics too. 3-5 minutes in length would be a good length.
4) Send me your songs with an attached press release with band bio, photo and lyrics. Don't need overly self indulgent type of bio. It's not a guitar solo!
Pls use yousendit.com and send the stuff over to levan_wee@mediacorp.com.sg.
Try NOT to send the stuff directly cause the mailbox size they give us is kinda limited so the file MIGHT bounce. You can also myspace it to me at www.myspace.com/levanronin (yes still have the ronin inside!)

Also, if there are any upcoming indie gigs, please let me know also (through the same contact points as above) at least -- a month in advance ---so I can either try to cover it or put it inside the calendar to get more people to come down to support ur band.
