I use the following set up for jamming and gigs...

Cymbals (left to right):
15" cracked Wuhan chinese
14" Paiste 402 hi-hats (loaned)
18" Paiste 502 crash
8" cracked Zildjian Edge splash
10" Zildjian A splash
16" Paiste 502 crash
18" Paiste 402 crash/ride
22" Zildjian (unknown series) ride (loaned)
12" Sabian AAX mini-chinese
17" Sabian AAXtreme chinese

Hardware:
Pearl Power Shifter double pedals (beaten up)
1 Pearl straight stand
1 Tama boom stand
2 Yamaha boom stands
1 Tama Stilt straight stand
3 mini boom stands
4 cymbal attachments
Tama snare stand
1 twin tom/cymbal holder attachment
1 brandless drum throne
A dozen pairs of recycled Regal Tip, Vic Firth sticks

Drums:
5 1/2" x 14" Tama Starclassic snare (mine)
10" Pearl Export tom (mine)
12" tom
16" floor tom

The 12" tom and 16" floor tom would belong to the studio or the default kit at gigs. I'd just take out the 13" tom and add my 10" tom to the kit and rearrange everything to a 10", 12" and 16" set-up.

THIS IS ONE OF SINGAPORE"S FAV & BEST DRUMMER..
havent seen him playing for a long time now...

Yeah bro.....the last time was jammmin wif him n he was playing swing n jazz......

Very cool dude.....

hope all is well with you and catch up with you in person some time =)

warm regards

Plainsman: I can't remember who you are. Tell me your name lah. Hehe. And yes I used to play for Global Chaos from 96 till about 2002. I'm not sure wether GC is still around. Send Kerr my warmest regards. I owe him big time for helping me out on my C-Programming last time! Haha!

Ady: I dont know who you are either. Sorry lah bro. Too much love making lah. Hurhur. Anyway I don't think I ever played jazz or swing most probably you seen me play in my concert band back in TP or somethin. Right now I'm playing with this old skool hardcore band called Stampede. We play post hardcore. Nothing fancy. Just some groovy stuff. We're aiming for a June 06 album release, so keep a look out for it.

Royhan: You the culprit who cracked my Wuhan right?!?! :x

Biz2020: Hi. Thanks for acknowledging my contribution in the drumming scene. It really means alot to me knowing that someone out there appreciates my drumming (although I think it sucks). I hope to meet up with you guys soon some day.

Thank you all for your kind words. Means alot. Now if you all can excuse me, I will go and cry to my wife...

Which Alfe ah? Post your pic or wat lah. Den only I know who are you. Haha. Anyway yeah I'm still playing. Never stopped actually. Just that I didnt have a decent band after playing with GC. Even if I didnt have a band I'd still be practicing and all. And Im very fortunate to have a very supportive wife.

Oh and about that "Portnoy chops" I owe it to 2 people. Firstly is Brandon from Aphelion cos he was kind enough to teach me alot of Portnoy chops. The other guy is Hakim who was playing for the now defunct Tri-Ryche. The guy is a monster. Insane chops and licks. These 2 guys (and a handful of other local drummers) are the reason why I'm still playing.
