Hey guys,

We'll also be giving away tickets for our first live show that's happening on 27 Jan (Tue)! So just turn up at any of the polytechnic roadshows above and you can come on up to swag the tix from us!

Alternatively, email us at livenloaded@mediacorptv.com if you want the tix!

And do add us on MySpace for more updates:
www.myspace.com/livenloadedon5

The 1st show on 27 Jan will feature Electrico (performing with saxophonist Kaye & Zouk's DJ Aldrin), The Great Spy Experiment (new song!) and TV debut of YouTube sensation, Ling Kai (aka Ling86) who has just released her debut EP! In addition, 3 bands from our Live 'n' Loaded website will be invited to perform on the show! So... it could be YOUR band if you have uploaded your stuff with us!

Plus: Limited edition "The Great Spy Experiment X Revoltage" tees will be sold during our studio dates!

Thanks to everyone who turned up and supported the bands @ the Live 'n' Loaded "Tour de polyteknik" gigs! If we can get the same kinda madness we had at Nanyang Polytechnic for our live studio shows, it'll be awesome! So for the fans of Plain Sunset and A Vacant Affair, you'll wanna snap up the tickets for 3 Feb and 10 Feb! Email us at livenloaded@mediacorptv.com for those tix now!

On the side note, our sincere apologies for not playing at Republic Polytechnic. Both bands (Plain Sunset and AVA) were actually at the venue for soundcheck an hour before the scheduled performance. But upon assessing the "strategic positioning of the stage" that the Open House Committee had arranged, which was directly outside a food court on the 2nd level while everything and everybody else were on the ground level, there was absolutely no human traffic at all. And the sound was projected at the billiard room, plus a few security guards having their afternoon nap disturbed.

It was a collective decision to not proceed with the scheduled performance as it was just not fair to Plain Sunset and A Vacant Affair having rushed all the way down from Singapore Polytechnic and then play to a crowd at Republic Polytechnic consisting of myself, their managers and the cleaning auntie from Koufu foodcourt who probably thought we were Campus Superstars.

Nonetheless, we look forward to seeing EVERYONE at our 17th Jan Live 'n' Loaded pre-show launch at *scape Youth Park!

SUPPORT LOCAL... ALWAYS!

well, me and about 8 other friends rushed to rp from sp only to be informed that the show was cancelled.. sigh

To patrickeatworld,

On behalf of the band members and the Live 'n' Loaded crew, i'll like to personally apologize for the lack of any prior & early announcement and notification by ourselves or the campus organizers about the cancellation. We understand that the campus organizer only announced it after the few campus bands finished their sets.

Would love to send you and your friends tickets to watch our studio recording, and THIS TIME, you can be sure we won't "fly your aeroplane". ;)

Send me a PM with your details and i'll get it send out to you!

Thanks for understanding!

i would say that it should be held at the south agora, the entrance at the open house. cause that's where everything will start.

i was in doubt too when it was going to be held at the north agora, where it was at the back and the final stretch of the open house. what's more, it was above, after taking the escalator, and on the left, are the agora halls, where there are more booths.

because people were to engross on the booths down below, they may not be aware of the stage above, even if they knew, there were no booths around it to hype up the stage.

everybody's eyes were glued to the south agora stage where there was a hiphop dance competition. i literally had to squeeze myself through just to get to the other side.

but to my surprise, everything was practically quiet when i reached the north agora.

ya man. this is another thing on my hate list about my own school. the location JIALAT i tell u. i seriously don't get how come the committee chose such a location. its like at the back of the back of the school, and there was no notice or anything at all about the event. i really hate my school in times like these.

anyways kudos to the few bands that performed there earlier. they gave commendable performances despite the pitiful atmosphere.

i was upset that AVA and plainsunset could not play at RP, but i understood totally. i would not want to play at that kinda place too. can u imagine Utt hosting on that stage with only some 10-15 people, summore with the tv crew. wah biang. on a side note, electrico and vertical rush were definitely awesome at TP!! (although VR were only allowed to play 2 songs. :D )

haha. Me, patrick and friends rushed to RP from SP then no show sia. But at least we managed to catch the gig at NYP on friday night. That was the best gig ever. No regrets at all. The AVA crew all went bodysurfing that night which was quite a rare sight. :P But security at NYP was fxcked up. :x Electrico and VR at TP were great too. And the "after party" as well. :)

Hahaha. Agree with you, was at the front row Awesome show. Except for the security which keep stopping the pit in front. Nevertheless, enjoyed the night in Nyp.

Thanks guys for all your support and coming down to watch the gigs! Especially the familiar group of supporters who were present at ALL the various gig venues, you guys took "SUPPORT LOCAL" to the next level, really! If our tiny "tour van" had space, we would have lugged you guys along with us!

Yes, overall, it was fun and enjoyable despite the set duration limit per venue. But hey, come on down to *scape on 17 Jan for the next round! The bands and music only maneuvers the left hand, the fans & supporters move the right! Takes two hands to lift up the scene!
