Live 'n' Loaded: 17 Jan *scape gig!

Really good show!
Hot sunny Saturday too!
Astroninja had a really nice set. Hope they don't swear on National Tv live. HAHA. They will into deep trouble if they do that.

But really nice. With moshing and stuffs. Thats how our local scene is. But mosh at the right songs lah. HAHA! First song by Plain Sunset, already mosh. Feel it!

Thanks to EVERYONE who turned up at the gig and supported the lineup of bands. We apologize if the sound system didn't meet your expectations, as we were running on a lean budget. And with all due respect to Silhoutte's already planned EP launch at *scape Lab, that's why we had to schedule this gig during the setting sun at 5pm to 7.30pm.

I hope everyone enjoyed the music, and all thanks to AVA, Allura, Vertical Rush, Astroninjas and Plain Sunset for showing us it is ALL WORTH FIGHTING FOR!

Matt held up a signboard at the end of AVA's set that says:
"FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN".

That sums up why we're there at *scape youth park, and why you have to either be in our studio on 27 Jan, or turn on your cob-web covered television set and SUPPORT LOCAL!!!!

Now, all those photographers in the front who shot so many of the crowdsurf shots, upload them and show us what you got!

Thanks again!
Live 'n' Loaded team

One of the best gig i have ever been too. I could really feel Matt's emotions when he sang connecting the dots. Plainsunset's set has too much moshing and crowdsurfing i think. Got hit hard in the head 3 times :x

only managed to catch AVA..
they were awesome as usual.. but they play too little songs la..
and putting a hardcore band in the early afternoon slot like abit weird

:(missed ava performance
but managed to catch plainsunset & astroninja
speaking of astroninja,
"your mom was good, but your sister was better"
hahahhah.
crack me up sia

ahaha.. same here..

sorry, that was just some random throw.

and plain sunset was awesome, with astroninja.

LKYCCB.

AVA was too early, i think.

but it was an awesome gig!

plainsunset was totally awesome.
i was lying in the front cause the people at te back kept pushing.
hah.
where's the pictures?

Hi everyone,

I'm glad you guys enjoyed yourselves! Yes, it's quite weird for us to have a 5pm to 8pm slot for gigs, facing the hot setting sun, but it's also because we do not wish to clash with Silhoutte's EP launch gig where another set of great bands were performing. And thus, 17 Jan was the only date avail for us to do this. There's always a FIRST for everything... just like Live 'n' Loaded on TV!!

My sincere apologies for the inadequate sound system to give you guys a better overall experience, and i'll be open to say that it's because we are running so lean on our budget to carry out onground promotions for this show, i've basically turned into a beggar to pull off my passion and drive to put local music in the foreground of local TV. If your dad's a multi-millionaire, and he wish to throw some money to support this show, please get him to contact me!

And i hope none of you were rough handled by our security personnel, we did tell them to apply Vaseline on their hands so when they hold you, it'll be a smooth experience.

I hope ALL of you will really support Live 'n' Loaded when it launches on 27 Jan, be it that you turned on the TV to watch, be it that you come attend the live recordings, or be it you start to rave and shout about it elsewhere!

Btw, if you're wondering about what Jon (Plain Sunset) meant about the "special guest" for that 10 Feb show, he meant FALLOUT BOY. And unfortunately, i got the word from their management that they won't be able to come into the studio for a 2-song set. But hey, meaning we'll just have Plain Sunset to fire up the crowd once more!

Once again, thanks for the support and i hope to see the same crowd in the live studio!

SUPPORT LOCAL & Cheers!
Sebas

Lol!
are there pictures? :)
and do we have to pay for the one at 27th, if so, how much?
i'm new here so if anything, please don't flame me, thanks

Massive props to the Mediacorp team who pushed on through some tough circumstances to put together not just a rocking concert, but pushing through a project like this on to national TV. Its not easy sticking to your guns and trying to make things like this happen, so for that the project team at Mediacorp deserves our kudos and respect.

Sebastian, Kevin & co, Vertical Rush salutes you!

See you guys on the 3rd... :)
