Hey guys..im considering getting the X3 live too..but from a guitarist point of view..do u guys think its worth the extra dollars over the XT live($660 vs $515)?Its main improvements being the dual amps output n bass and vocal effects(which guitarists dont need).And frm the online reviews i read..quite a number of problems with its software...although Line 6 has been releasing firmware updates to solve the bugs. Im wondering if the shipment received by Citymusic have been updated?
Hope to hear some opinions from u guys..thanks.

the extra dollars may help with resale value later if you decide you want to sell it, which i s a plus, on top of the extra features and "new" factor.

Anyway, if you're looking for a cheap alternative, check out Gator's GK2110 keyboard bag...
Less than half of the retail price of the official XTL bag, and fits the XTL perfectly, but not so sure about the X3L though...

Oh yay collected the X3 Live after Sunday's soft gathering... Will fill you guys in on details after I've fidelled with it enough.

Oh yeah, the bag problems... I will wait either for the official X3 Live bag, which is quite costly, or... continue using the $35 electro harmonix/West field bag for it. It fits perfectly and its quite heavily padded, which I've used it to bring the x3 live for a jaming session the very same day it was available here.

I bought my west field bag from ebanex when Beez was still there. I think they should still be carrying those bags, or you can try Beez.

Yes i can feel the slight delay which may or may not be acceptable depending on individuals. I've checked out their website and they seem to have a patch to fix some problems including reducing the patching changing time by up to 70%. Gonna use the software to update my firmware now to see if it helps.
