I have read many good and bad reviews about this two multi efx processors, Line 6 PODxt live and the boss gt 8. I still cant make up my mind, what would you guys say?

Can't vouch for the POD since I haven't heard it but I can say that the Boss GT8 is freakin huge in terms of customization and functionality. Some models sound authentic to me too. :D

Apparently Zoom G9.2tt is also a good pedal. Zoom had incorporated the tube accelerator to make the sound of their distortion more organic

http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/products/g92tt/index.php

Taken from ZOOM website:

Accelerator blends tube and solid state sound

The analog input section incorporates an Accelerator that can amplify the signal in a tube or a solid-state based circuit. The 12AX7 tube produces fat, sturdy sound that can be mixed with the clear and transparent sound from the solid-state circuit. Blending natural compression with typical tube saturation characteristics creates a rich, organic tone.

I am also considering FX pedals and also have been considering GT-8 and Line 6 Pod xT Live. After doing research, I just might go to City Music for a test drive on that Zoom FX

i know this has been discussed quite a lot of times here...

i'm thinking of buying one of the above mentioned also...been thinking for very long. really can't make up my mind but i haven't been down to try anything yet...

but can only go down and test both when the darn exams are over.

haha thanks to whoever opened this thread.

how come like got so many people vote for xt live but everyone seems to be saying gt-8 is better...weird...haha

line 6 products sounds kinda digital
from da amps 2 their pedals n etc.
however i getta admit da podxt gives decent tone
if its less digital in sound
it would be perfect

actually i think the AX3000G is pretty bad, i only like it's delays and modulations. and i don't think the ESS is of much use.

after hearing other multi-effects over these past few months i sort of regret getting the AX3000. :(

Podxt for me. GT-6/8 for tweakers, pod for non treakers... pod also has direct recording and downloadable updates...
