erm can i ask something? weight of guitar does affect the sustain right? like heavier should have more sustain.. but lighter doesn't mean that it got no sustain. is it?

weight of a guitar does affect the sustain, but it isn't that big of an issue. the more important aspect is how a guitar resonates.

abt that.. the bigsby seriously isnt heavy at all. max 200grams only. i was shocked and a bit baffled when i first got it cos i was thinking wth metal is this. no way 1kg lah ahha

my brotha.. bigsby is made from all aluminum ... so thats why its not heavy
and aluminum is a light weight metal.. yet not durable as regular steel :mrgreen:

ur axe was 7.6 kg.. that's pretty heavy .... but a good wood always come with the heavy weight .. more dense , tight grain, pure core and stronger of course
