like stated above, where to find a Les Paul sounding guitar underr 400 . Any brand will be good, I can change the pickups and all but all in all what's the best Les Paul sound I can get for such a budget?
i've tried them at standard value. they really feel solid and heavy. they play well too. feels good in my hands.
imo better than epiphone. epiphone's stock pickups are really muddy.
go try them out. test both guitars see which one u prefer. which one feels better to you. we can give u recommendations but its u who will decide which guitar ultimately.
haven't really tried the epiphones and the rallys on the same amp so i can't give an accurate answer but as dudelove mentioned, go try them out. it should feel good in ur hands. though as a personal preference, i'd pick the rally and change their pickups then they'll be similar in price to the epiphones but nicer sounding (i think )
i wouldn't recommend the epiphone lp special II. for that price, you can get something a lot better(unless you buy it secondhand). and do note that changing pickups will not improve your sound if you have a lousy amp.
hmmm...the micro roland cube is not too bad as a starting amp in the bedroom. there should be a review somewhere in this forum but i'm too lazy to dig it out
then again, u didnt give much info in ur starting post so cant really help u on this one =/
make an effort - go down and try both. if u're planning to get a good guitar, going down to the shop to try which guitar is better to you for yourself. you will ultimately be the judge for which guitar u're buying. take ur time and dont make a hasty decision just because of what other ppl's perception of the guitar is.
