Hi
i tried fender strat n maple neck
i dont really lke the maple neck

i prefer rose wood neck, somehow feels smoother to me

anyway. how does a burny les paul copy compare to an epiphone or the real thing, a gibson
?

im quite interested in this model
http://www.luthermusic.com/cgi-bin/WB_ItemPageGen.pl?t=1091893063&Pid=88&Gid=2060000

is this a good buy? compared to regular epiphones?

by the way

anyone has any experience with the laney lc-50 mkii amp
is it in a comparable level with marshall dsl401
im spoilt between 2 choices
a laney and a marshal

which one do you people recommend

something with a good clean
and good for metal riffs, chunky sound

boo

i guess the most important aspect in buying guitars is to check for comfortability.. it depends on you.. you feel good on a burny.. why not? feel good on the epi.. go ahead... doesnt matter brand or whatever i guess.. feature wise.. u gotta compromise here and there.. :D

Well.....for a Burny or Epiphone, a Les Paul costs maybe around 300-1000

For a true blue Gibson Les Paul....prepare to pay well over 1000....probably around 3000 will get you a decent one.... maybe 5000 if you got the $$$

So in that sense, it matters (the price also reflects the quality)

But ultimately, I agree with Dhalif....if its comfy....you like the sound....ttz more important.

i'm sure you meant maple fretboard in your initial post, instead of maple neck... anyway, which strat is this?

How does the Vintage 30 sound like?

Lifehouse,

I have a V30 that I use in addition to other speakers.

Would you like to start another thread and I can post an answer there?
