hmmm.. went yamaha about two days back and there was this cny sale going on... a burny lp was selling for about $645.. white with gold hardware.. not bad..

TANY thanks for the updates!! The Orville by Gibson is finally here! Oh man... and now they got Epiphone Japan model also... cool.

backstab21, there is actually a whole lot of difference between the china/korean and MIJ burny. you can try out those in Yamaha and then try out the one in www.orangeguitar.com - if you do intend to stay with the guitar, i would recommend pay the extra and get the MIJ.

But having said this, the china/korean model is good for it's value lah.

haha.. yeah.. u pay peanuts, u get monkeys.. but its ok la.. can be compared to the better epiphone models, and for a MIC, the finishing and craftsmanship and QC and everything is pretty good...

I agree that u shoudl save up and get a mij burny.. best quality for the price.. better than certain brand name guitars..
