i thought all players must have a steam account?

just ask ur friends to create a steam account. they do not need to buy the legit game. just log into the steam acount and run the non steam l4d. that should work.

is it just me or i feel the game is rather racist? Everytime i use louis the black guy, the chances of me getting pounced on by hunter, attacked by smoker and normal horde increases, and the tank seems to enjoy hitting me also. Just my little opinion though another side of me believe that every single character have an equal chance too.
