fyi, the fireworks ARE real. They only digitally created the ones which were not safe to film by helicopter. But the audiences who were physically there saw all the fireworks.

also, everyone, including the angmohs, were lip-syncing in the closing ceremony.

I don't agree with such a grand opening and closing. Wasting money on fireworks and stuffs.

Not that Im against the olympics or what ah. But do spare a thought for the sichuan victims and more. Save the money up and use it to bring the victims up and in good morale.

Now its too late. The fireworks are being blown up and such. sighh..

Its once in 4 years. And probably china's only olympics in the next few decades. No wonder they splurged on the celebrations.

The fireworks was superb, the best after i saw fireworks at esplanade's opening.
