I'm conducting lessons for introductory acoustic guitar!
I've taught guitar in various secondary schools, and I've been playing for 9 years now.
Performed at various venues including Victoria Concert Hall.
Started learning from Classical guitar and progressed with a Grade 5 theory, and Grade 5 Practical. (didn't take my Grade 8 practical due to army).
Lessons will include,
Introduction to instrument, ie. tuning, parts of guitar, maintenance
Proper guitar techniques
Chord structures
Strumming/Plucking
Basic reading of scores
Scales
Basic Music Theory
Materials such as scores, theory notes and notebook will be provided.
Well, I'm confident you'll be able to pick up this instrument within a month if you practice practice practice at home! Use lesson time for learning more than practicing, and you'll be on your way! I believe in having you to learn the instrument as fast as you can really.
