Yea Clarke quay mrt is near too. Come out, walk along left side of Singapore river (towards boat quay side). When u see the Mr Stamford Raffles statue, thats it, turn left inside, away from the river.

The statue is opp boat quay.

looking at the map again, raffles place seems to be a little bit nearer to artshouse than city hall. but the route is not so direct and if you exit the mrt wrongly, you could end up somewhere else. :?

City Hall MRT best. at least still have people around to ask. Raffles Place MRT is quite quiet on a weekend.
