Dear friends,
La' Dies (gothic punk) would be launching our 2nd EP this Sunday, 8 June, at Timbre, Substation in conjunction with our SHOW series which features all the local Chinese bands not safe for mainstream pop fans.
It will be an afternoon event from 1pm - 5pm with good drinks and food and some of the best bands you won't get to hear on radio (unfortunately marginalized I am afraid by more than just radio). Music is music, and we hope that even though mandarin is not a language all our friends here in Singapore may understand, we hope you look to the kind of original work that has been done here as well.
Bands include: Razzle Play (pop rock), Hong Ding Que (Rock, punk) , Black Forest (Pop rock) , LGF (Pop, funk), Tian De Hui (Metal, rock) and La' Dies (Gothic punk/rock)
Do join us for some fun and have a peak at the Chinese scene we have been slowly building. Your support would be great as Chinese music outside the confines of "proven formulas" have always been harder than most people think. We are proud of the scene we have help nurture and would like to show everyone what our little fraternity is made of beyond just ultra band TV contests.
Meantime: You can hear previews/ animated MTV of La' Dies at:
