hi there may i know where can i buy the L shape key which comes with your fender strat guitar.... Issit used for adjusting the action of the guitar, i found my strings are too far away from the fret and need to do some adjusting.

Hmmm... if you like to have a nice bunch of them... Guitar77 sells them in a Swiss Army Knife style.. about what, 10 of them allen wrenches for $20.

hey Jacknono,

is ur Fender strat American, Mexican, or Japanese? they have got different allen key sizes. the Am and Mex uses the same keys, but its difficult to find them in shops here as they are of not metric sizes, its in inches. try to get them from authorised fender dealers, ie swee lee or GG. but davis might be able to bring the original as i saw them having original fender parts. or GC. the Jap is easy to find as it is in metric. most hardware stores carry metric sized hex keys.

beware that if u uses the wrong allen key, it might strip/damage the hex hole, and it is costly to replace/repair them.

I beg to differ.

In a proper hardware shop, you can find Metric (meter) or Imperial (inch).

For extra small sizes you may get lucky at Sim Lim tower shops.

You can get all sort of alan key from any of the hard ware shop on King George Ave, You can get metric or inch sizes . Like all products there is premium and non premium brands , the cheapest swiss army type alan key with 8 sizes which has the size for setting the action to floyd rose tremolo is about $5 to $8 .
I use the metric and inches alan key for my work and I always have a swiss army type alan key in my tool bag when I work .

King George Ave is near Lavender MRT
