Hey guys,

Not sure whether this is the correct forum to post in, but I sort of have questions on the product.

I'm wondering why I keep finding ads of people trying to sell it. For me, I'm thinking of buying it in order to improve my live sound. So anyone has any inputs on the product can care to share about their experiences?

Thanks in advance,

Nate

Check it out at citymusic and see how it works for you.

The smaller kaossilator is a fun toy to have when needing extra sound source. One of the reason why theres selling of it in used market prolly since its so cheap(compared to the full pledge bigger one) and anyone can just buy and play around with it, after a while interested die down and move on to other things.

Hi, i think you saw my add selling it.

I'm selling it because I'm fuding it to get a MIDI controller. If I had a choice, I would've kept it. I've sampled some sounds from the kaossilatoir before and used it. Furthermore, the synth sounds in the kaossilator are not bad and can add some randomness to your track.

Oh yeah, it is interesting at first, but if you use it alone, it gets boring:(

Right.

I see.

Thanks for your input guys!

Well, I definitely want to try it out and stuff just to get how it works. Really sounds like an awesome device to incorporate into my set. It's fine using the normal Kaossilator right? I don't have to get the pro version if I'm just trying it out.

Im not sure abt the pro version. But from youtube, i see that a lot of the normal ones are incorporated into their sets. The pro one has more features such as functioning as a midi controller and allows storage of loops and added effects. I think the pro version is more towards a main instrument rather that supporting your set. Just my opinion though:)

Im still selling my kaossilator if you are interested:p

Haha, I think I'm gonna try it out over at city music before I decide.

Yeah, I'll keep your ad in view, maybe I'll decide to buy it in the end who knows :D

The Kaossilator is one mean machine, 200loops to play with; including a vocoder.

To make things simple, it's a analog syth machine whose keyboard is a Pad.

I just got one, it's amazing. Really up to individuals to use it. Live set, studio recording or just a jamming session with friends.

Only thing to note is..... you're playing every loop/sound/note from a pad. You get it, precise notes are hard to hit. But there are things that you can do with a pad which is quite difficult to do with a keyboard syth.

Am I able to use it as a MIDI controller?

As in connect it to my DAW and product MIDI events from it?

I just gt myself a KP Pro few weeks back..
Its a hell of a synth, but nothing compared to the Almighty EMX..
Guess today is the last day for City Music's sale..

hi,
i use kaossilator (yellow) a lot..yup, some people may say it is not a serious gear, but if you check out youtube, many could make a decent tune/music with it.
i myself not a musician..i only do it for fun in my study room. and being small & portable, i could carry it everyday to work! when inspiration comes, i just play with it and record it direct to a portable recorder (i have a simple toshiba digirecorder)..anywhere.
