He is my senior while we were learning with my first teacher Gordan Jansen, about 14-15 years ago.
He plays on and off and recently has become Heritage's resident drummer. Heritage is a blues rock band that started out in the 70s. So if you're into the old school 6/8 rock etc, they'll be interesting to watch. They now play in a bar in duxton road....pretty close to L Cube Studios.

Hey Alvin: I didn't know that yourself & Kelvin Corey were students of Gordan when you were both very young. Yeah and I love to see Gordan Bros playing Blues in Crazy Elephant .....
Unfortunately I have Lesson lah today (5 to 7pm) if not I sure go...support support him and can learn new things also.

Yup. I started learning from Gordan when I was about 18 and I stayed under him for about 8-9 months. I left cause he told me he had nothing left to teach me....he was an amazing teacher. Corey is a bit older than me....I'm guessing between 6-8 years my senior.

i met gordon in swee lee not too long ago when i was back in sing.
i have this e mail and number if ur interested.
hahha i was with gordon for awhile as well, i stopped cause he said "ur crap, and there is nothing i wanna teach u". hahaha kidding....or am iiiiiiiiiiiii. say hi to the music lab people for me. esp tht really hot singing student u got. hey thts another reason to go take lessons at the music lab.

no lar, he was pretty encouraging. i didn't do any of wat he told me until freaking way after i stopped. it helped some, i shld have learnt the shuffle from him, i wld be so much better at it now. oh hey alvin check out don fagan's nightfly man, got a killa steve jordan chicargo shiffle on it.
