It was my first guitar, I got it from Swee Lee, with the hardcase deal. I just bought a RGT42DX from a bro here (:, so I was wondering if i should keep or sell off the GSA, and if i do sell it off how much would it be worth? It's in good condition, only a chipped headstock which was coloured in with marker haha. Mmm, suggestions bros?

Yeah.. Why create two threads dealing with the same topic with identical posts?

Regarding the matter at hand, nobody could truly tell you..
Reasons why you should keep it:
1) Different tone/feel.. Will aspire you to play differently, and promotes versatility..
2) Back-up just in case your guitar breaks down or sent for servicing..
3) Sentimental value.. It's your first guitar! If you sell it you may regret it.. It's the guitar you learnt scales on, you played chords on, and went through plenty of tough times together..

Reasons to sell:
1) You will hardly touch it, and you think she deserves a better owner..
2) You need the extra income earned, or can even use it to purchase guitar equipment that will further drive you to improve on your playing (pedals, amps, etc.).

I'm not sure about the pricing on it, but if you do sell, do make sure the information about the headstock is written down on the thread..

keep or sell?

use the flower method.
to sell or not to sell.
to sell or not to sell.

Dun ever sell your first guitar bro....Not worth it..You won't be able to fetch good deal from a entry level guitar...and you can always buy another new guitar but you won't be able to buy memories...I regret that I sold off my first guitar till now...it was a Yamaha EG303

Its your first guitar man... I also own an Ibanez Gio and tried a few others and they're superb guitars. And, you're probably one of the few in Singapore who has a flamed maple topped GSA!

You'll never know when you might need it, too. You could keep it as your backup guitar.
