With captions.
1993 MIJ Strat - RC Booster - BB Preamp - Tone Press - DD20 - Strymon Bluesky Reverb - Mbox 2 - Reaper amp plugin. Audio recorded before video. Guitar panned right.

This is probably THE U2 song that inspired a whole generation of delay obsessed guitarists.

Also a shameless plug, my band is the Singapore finalist for Sony's Like Performing, Love Sony competition, which will be this Saturday at Scape, around 4-5pm. Details can be found here. http://www.sony.com.sg/microsite/uphoria/

nice playing!

I see that you are also very much into delay.

If you are interested, check out Manuel Gottsching, he is a german guitarist who released an album in 1975(Invention for electric guitar), recorded on 4 tracks machine, plenty of delay, fuzz and wah, that has so much delay effect playing n there which later guitarist came to used in their songs and became much more known.

But yeah, in term of playing with delay, other than Edge, David gilmour etc, Manuel Gottsching is definitely someone to check out as well. His other stuff is much more diversifiy/experimental if you are into those kinda.

@PatheinRaindropMoe: That is some cool stuff you've linked. :) I'm not very much into experimental music, though I do sometimes like to give the pop stuff I cover a spacey twist. More stuff to learn......
