joining 2 single coil

I have this crazy ideal:
Is there a mount or any mod that allow me to seat 2 different single coil on a H-S-H guitar's neck position :?:

it can be done.. its just how to deal with the baseplate/mounting plate of the single coils.

Dimarzio singles have a triangular baseplate that must be shaved off to accomndate 2 pups.
