odioboi, the "setting up stage, audio equipments" kinda work is usually undertaken by the rental company. sad thing is, usually they get people through connection. no harm calling them or visiting them though. (yellow pages)

you should be physically fit cause you will be moving things around. these stuff are heavy, no joke.

if you are not too into the money part, you can always volunteer yourself with the many indie gig organisers.
