hi, just want to ask.. if I do go, am I allowed to make video recordings, just for viewing at home?

I think it should be no problem to video record for your own home use. Anyways double check with the organisers.

I will be video recording, setting up drum mics and sending the other instruments thru a mixer too.

I have not discussed the possibility of sharing the session online as yet. Once the organisers give me clearance to share it to public I'll post an edited version of it.

Those who did not attended missed a great opportunity to learn about what jazz drumming is and how a jazz drummer fits into the music...refreshingly not filled with the usual technique talk and demo of chops. Exchanges between the musicians (non drummers) there who outnumbered the drummers were very enlightening and constructive. Great job USADRUMMER.
