Jap Fender '62 Reissue Strat (sss)

Yeah its real sad man. The jap reissue 62 is a aweosome guitar. And yeah if Maiden cld rock on the guitar why not?! haha. I mean the whole idea of having a fender and RG is to have versatility eh. well. its his choice ultimately. Anw he has a friggin awesome rig for a beginner man. haha. jealous. all i have is my cheap aria lp.haha. oh well

hmm..i love the neck feel, but i dun like the sound tat comes out from it, dunno issit becox its texas pickups, hmm, if i am thinking of letting go of my 62 reissue, any takers? sms me 98362463(joseph)

i second what thor said, if you really like the neck feel.....the tone can be altered with a simple change of pickups. Just 1 day of fiddling with it and you're letting it go?

If you think you had made a wrong choice yesterday, the decision to let the strat go now is a much worse choice imo.....give yourself a week to think over it. It's not cheap too.

*Sigh

rigs like this wasted.... *spend some moment of silence...

but i m satisfied with my mim std already..

his rig is marvelous for blues, clasic rock, etc.. just need another tube amp.. and it ll be great... ts9 into the tube... whoah... another pod to add in some extra flavor...

i think he needs to spend sometime with his rig... and after some tweaking probably he ll like it..

I have no eyes to see *covers his eyes*

anyway, pls reconsider about selling it lohz...that strat is like..the best guitar a new player can get what's more u have so many pedals to make use of to unleash it's potential..

i mean..the blues guys use it , the jazz cats use it , the hard rockers use it , it's enough reference to prove to u that it can do particular everything right?

anyway , if u are going to sell it...3 years down the road u are going to regret it

yep, definitely. especially considering that MIJ strats are going to be extinct soon. no more in production from this year, i heard. but there's still stock in circulation, of course

even if you're dead-set on selling it, you're losing more than $400 (assuming u bought it at retail price) after owning it for just a day!! your buyer is one lucky guy :p

its okie..dun accept trades. i just want to sell off this guitar. Okay, i am selling off at $1.2k. So losing 280..still acceptable.

I am saving for a gibson les paul standard..tats the guitar i wanted all along, just wanted to try out a fender, but i just dun like barhs...yup! =)

Hope to get a buyer soon.

i'm from CLS Bioinfo........my gf is in ICT one of your buddy classmates....

anyway i have the same logic as you.......i own a fender usa strat and an epiphone les paul standard plus......my original plan was to buy a gibson les paul classic because i was more into the humbucker tone.......but i don't regret
buying my fender because the sound quality is worth it too......each guitar has its own character especially fenders and gibsons......if beez played it and you didn't like the sound then you could have held back first.....or if you felt that beez managed to get the tone that you want you could always go back to him and ask......knowing beez he's a very nice guy i'm sure he will help you out in anyway he can.....

if you wanted to buy a gibson les paul standard, you shouldn't have bought your fender reissue.....there are always a lot of options to examine the sound of a fender strat......

well i guess some of us can afford to splurge that kinda dough just to 'try' a particular type of guitar.

hey man, if you buy that Gibson, and you realise you don't like it that much, let me know! i wouldnt mind taking a day-old Gibson off you at a nice discount

maybe u don't hav to sell the fender. Just look for a someone whose willing to trade a gibson with u for the strat with a top up.

dats not very nice to say such things abt him. so wat if hes got the cash to splurge. just saying such stuff proves ure jealous and childish. well well...

sometimes when we do have spare cash we have the tendancy to spend it on something that is rather noticeable to us........ :)

well... i have a friend who owns a lespaul classic if im not wrong... really chio guitar... he likes strats too ...his gibson is actually a showcase piece now...

if you interested i can give you his contact. But be prepared to top up $$$ (duh)

I still have to save like hell to get a MIJ. Please do reconsider, tried one at G77 too, it's a really nice guitar, and with those texas specials. :woohoo:
