I am currently trying to import a Burny RLC-50JS from Ishibashi along with hardcase, guitar strap and cable. I emailed them 4 days ago, but failed to receive a reply. How long does it usually take? I emiled them again 2 days ago.

I have bought from them 3 to 4 times and they are usually prompt and polite in replying emails. You may also like to include in your email header "Attn: Ms Rachel Maurer". She's one of the few (could be the only??) English-speaking/typing staff there so things might go a bit faster and less confusing through her.

There's a few who can read n write eng, but i think those who reply back are in charge of international sales, the person i liase with is Zhang Ye....

do we have to pay any additional charges eg. GST?

You don't need to pay any tax over on Japan's side, but you will need to pay 7% GST when it reaches you. The delivery guy will collect the extra 7% gst when he sends the item to your place. Only valid for orders above $400 though.

I'm in the process of ordering a tele from them. They replied my initial email after 2 days, might take a while sometimes.
