yes my friend did. arrived in 5 days. dhl. perfect condition. he was a very happy man. think he ordered the one with the texas pups, dunno which model exactly. paid about $1150 in all? somewhere there. after you see the purchase price, add 10,000 yen for shipping. plus dun forget another few percent for your local customs tax...dunno how much.
 
i bought from ishibashi last month, not fender though. they reply email pretty quick and good service overall. my guitar was delivered in 4 days, perfect condition. don't have to pay tax on the jap side, but set aside cash for our 5% GST and singpost handling (around $5 if i rem right).

bought an ibanez j custom, which aint available here in spore. so erm, i dont think that allows for price comparison?

(btw, u are raymond arent u? i seem to recall trying to buy a blues driver off u, then finding out that alvyn's a mutual fren. :lol: ) dont mind me if i'm wrong ah..
 
hmmm...i emailed them twice and they normally got back to me within 2 working days. maybe u r the exception... :)
 
wow...u managed to get your hands on a j custom..which model is it? FM or QM? and how's the tone thru those dimarzios like the blue velvet? and how much did u pay for it?

ok maybe i got low expectations hehe. the 1st enquiry took about 2 days yeah but after that the exchange was pretty quick.

ita RG8670. i'm not good at the technical description of tone, except to say it makes me drool. u mite wana check out what the jemsite forum ppl are saying about it. my fave is the tonezone in the bridge :)
 
wow...u rich kid...top of the line j-custom, witht the vai-like vine inlays..i must say it looks absolutely great...and can't go wrong with TZ and AN for bridge and neck too...must get my hands on a j-custom one of these days...prob an 8570..
 
ha..got your pm..why the secrecy though? think i won't be getting a guitar anytime soon..just got a pgm300 and it's fantastic..

Hi Momorockstar, saw an all-girl band in Boon studio last sunday evening and it caught my attention, and the guitarist was playing a RED flamed J-custom that looked like RG8670. Wonder if that person happened to be you?

I know I could have made a mistake, just making the assumption cos there're aren't many girls playing guitar (comparing to guys), not many J-custom around, and well... to spot a girl playing a j-custom, chances are that its highly likely to be u?

Just in case if that's you, its a very nice guitar. Can I know the exact price u paid for it (with or without case)?

But just in case its a mistake of identity, sorry abt it. Just ignore this post :)
