Is this repairable?

thanks all.. i don't have the cash currently.. plus im not allowed to withdraw from my bank acc. my mum doesn't really show any interest at all in trying to repair my dad's fav guitar. -_-

I told her it would cost around 200-300 if a good repair job was to be done.. and she went like " I'm not even paying 100 for such a simple job!"

dunno how to convince her.. i think it might be because she thinks we have too many guitar in the houses.. 3 passed down by my dad.. this acoustic one which i enjoy playing alot.. 1 classical(i dont like playing it), 1 12 string guitar.. (not used to it + frets all brownish YUCKS) and 1 elect guitar which i bought. i ever mentioned about upgrading my guitars..or buying another one and she'll start nagging.. she thinks spending on my hobby is unnecessary..

if u bros got any solutions to open her mind pls share :D haha

Different things mean different things to different people.

Go to Malcolm and let him know about your situation... there's such a thing as kindness in this world still.

On your part, decide what you think might be the best for your situation. You want the guitar repaired as best as possible... but you don't have the cash. Can you save up somemore on your own? Maybe show your mum how much it means to you - maybe she'll chip in some more...

read somewhere that a glued wood (if done properly of course) is much better than just plain wood.

Anyway, good luck convincing your mom.
