Is there a market for music of this nature??

Reckon places like Harry's ( Boat Quay ) may be one of the few venues that could host bands of such genre.

There are tons of fans but I ain't too sure about makin' a long term living playing in pubs ( in Singapore at least ).

Best way is to get the needed exposure& participate in music festivals, you never know what may come your way. You may get better paying gigs ( even one-offs ).

If you could do a little stripped down version, as in a more of an acoustic set-up, there maybe more places that would take you in, hotels etc.

Reminds me of 'em Saxophone bar days& darn forgot the name of the joint in the then Westin Hotel.

Good stuff though.

Yes a lot of places are using stripped down versions of bands only because its economical to hire 2pc or 3pc band.
