is size unboundedness?

Can you add more details to your post? Else I will have to remove the thread.

i put an ant for example, if you magnify it you will see its hair etc.
k now zoom in the hair and what you see? exactly the texture of its hair. zoom further on you will in fact get to see the germs and so fourth. so am i right to say that size is unboundedness?

Is it size of the body?
size of the guitar?
or size your 'brother'?

heh.I'm just kidding. You have to be specific my friend ;)

well you could say that.. its true that size is unboundedness since science have explained itself enough for us to know we are made of atoms.. and you already know that atom is the most tiniest single cell in the universe and nothing is smaller than the atom.. hahaha.. so i think this topic is irrelevant.. thank you! cheers..

yup you got the point bro. but what i mean is if the atom will to be magnify again, if theres possible. there got to be something in the atom itself which are smaller. anyway thx for the posts ppl.

Hey Aggresior, Now you are making sense. I think this is what physicists around the world are trying to discover as well. That's why they build the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It ran for 2 months? I think, awhile only to get technical glitch on the coolant systems.

This research is not only going to answer your question, but it going to answer mine, is there anti-matter besides matter? I hope this is not getting to dry..haha

lets hope that the scientists get to do their stuffs and research on whether there is anything smaller than the atom.. if there is,it will be a great discovery.. woot~

yea man. If this thing is successful, it can mean either 2 thing, wonderful or disastrous. These potential energy from undiscovered atom particles that can be harnessed are no doubt, extremely volatile and are much more dangerous as compared to nuclear weapons. That's disastrous seriously.

On a good side, it can well, errmm..no idea? Maybe it changes our energy consumption from and prevents oil shortage, and oceans need not be drilled anymore?

Now I'm getting excited, I mean I always get excited when talking about physics..weird ..haha

woohoo! that would uber-awesome.. haha.. the unknown mysteries of the world unraveled.. woah.. well,if atoms are capable of destroying mankind.. damn it would be more disastrous if there are bombs like that.. the whole body vanished, no trace.. damn.. good side, less harm done to nature..

WIKI - The electron is an elementary subatomic particle

atoms are made of electrons, protons and neutrons. what if these -trons/tons are split(ted?) even further?

how big is big? very big? how big is the universe? i wear an M-sized Tshirt, what size would a/the universe wear? is the universe EVERYTHING? how a person determine that?

To answer the biggest, they first have to find the smallest, the simplest substance that creates atoms itself. Physicists have discovered quarks, it is even smaller particle than electron, it is in fact, the one that made up electrons(they are finding even smaller than quarks through the research of LHC). So small, so unstable and volatile. This if harnessed, could produce devastating impact on the world. Similar to Caesium and Francium, both which is highly unstable, are able to explode a huge bath tub of cold water with a single drop of that chemical property. Imagine the power of quarks, that's a hell lot more than any ordinary atomic bombs ever developed.

They (scientists and physicists)even hypothesized that such volatility could create the next Big Bang or create a black hole in itself, and split the world into half. Some of the panel of skeptics and scientists themselves insists that the reseach of LHC should be stopped before it's too late. Now what the world gonna turn out to be? I don't know..lol

The LHC is totally safe, most of the controversy surrounding it are caused by either fundie nuts or just tinfoil wearers. The mini 'black-holes' produced that last only a tiny fraction of a second won't cause a doomsday. These people have been proven repeatedly wrong - you can't argue with 2 or 3 decades of R&D backed by billions of funding. People will believe in anything, it's really amazing.
