Is it possible? Midi - As close to the real thing?

Drums. Yes, for me its a pain to record it. You'll need all sorts of stuff like micing or whatever modules ect ect.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone tried this. Do your drums in midi in softwares like Guitarpro and then convert them to real samples. Possible?

Drums are already sampled in many places and are already quite advanced. It's not a new thing.

Take Larry Seyer's Acoustic Drums for exanple ( http://www.larryseyer.com/content/view/37/53/ ). This is one of the most extensive drum samples you can ever find.

There are others like DFH ( http://www.soundsonline.com/Drumkit-From-Hell-Superior-pr-TT103.html ), EZDrummer ( http://www.soundsonline.com/EZ-Drummer-pr-TT106.html ) and Stormdrum ( http://www.soundsonline.com/Quantum-Leap-Stormdrum-pr-EW-162.html ).

Listen to all the demos. Give you a taste of how keyboard can replace drums.

haha since you're on this topic, is there a way to connect electronic drums to a computer for recording?

Of course! If you're using the sound from the drum module that comes with the electronic drums, you just have to plug the audio output into the PC's audio card's input. Use an audio software to record and you're done.

If you want to trigger other sounds from software (drum softsamplers etc), connect the midi out from your drum module to the midi in of your PC's midi interface. In the sequencing software, select your VST plug-in software, make sure your midi channel is selected correctly (drums are usually at channel 10 by default) and you're done. Of course, if you are using Gigastudio, things are slightly different in terms of software routing.

Yes. Same way as above. When you say "at the same time", do you mean recording drums and the keyvboard at the same time? Do you want to record audio or midi from both sources? If audio, you'll just need a multiple audio input card. If midi, your midi interface need to be at least 2x2, or you can rout by connecting using midi thru.
