Is it ok if....

ok i was jsut wondering if its ok to set the action of my guitar at different levels.

Example, i adjusted the action for my treble strings side lower than my bass strings side. So now the action is something like tapered. Higher on the bass strings and lower on the treble strings.

Will this cause any side effects to happen?? Or should i just leave it at equal levels?? Appreciate the help.

most guitars will be set up that way.. bass-side action is higher than treble. But only by 0.2-0.3 mm

It shouldn't be a problem if you want to set it up that way. As long as the difference is not significant (like 2-3mm) coz that will affect intonation (will go sharp when you press the strings).

Wherever you're comfortable
