Is Iron Maiden Coming???

man i got tired of waiting for Maiden so i went last year and caught them at Reading. setlist from the first 4 albums only and i was right in front of Steve Harris. i'd suggest anyone who wants to see them, start saving now. when they release The Early Days Part 2 DVD, go catch them in all their glory in Europe or something. i sold almost everything i owned last year to go see them and it was well worth it.

Die_Kurt & Bam: Testament is doin an Aussie tour in early Feb. I'm a huge fan of Testament myself, maybe we could gang up some support and email LAMC so they might be able to look into the possibility of bringing Testament to town? Just a suggestion. Anyone else interested in this idea? Whether it works or not, it is worth a shot I reckon.

Peace.

Judaspiss: Last I checked was the original lineup.

Chuck Billy - V
Eric Peterson - G
Alex Skolnick - G
Greg Christian - B
Louie Clemente - D

I think John Tempesta might come in somewhere there cos Louie pulled out cos of illness.

i am definitely up to see Testament but if they manage to get Megadeth here in Apr then Feb might be a bit too close for Testament. a lot of metalheads can't afford to see 2 gigs so close to each other and forcing them them to choose like that might make poor attendence for both.

yo, John?

Bostaph filled in for Clemente on tour in July and August. Tempesta filled in in Aug as well. don't know if Clemente has recovered yet or not. i guess both Paul and John are filling for him in as their schedule allows?

There was a substantiated rumour that I was gonna perform in Changyi, Singapore, but I didnt go down after all. If Iron maiden comes to Singapore, I might just pop by, provided they dont play songs from their current album. :)

Testament eh? how many people do you think would come out to see Testament? :D

Hey man, what was the official attendance for Slayer?

As for Testament, I kinda agree they'd probably pull around half of what Slayer did or 3/4. The crossover traffic won't be as heavy as it was for Slayer. But I reckon Malaysians would get off their arses and head for the gig :D My Malaysian arse is definitely there

Halo fello Msian !!

I believe its the cost that is kinda putting off our friendly neighbours from coming ....Maybe the promoters can bring in the crowd via offering some kinda packaged deal ...transport - ticks- food !!

I see Singapore as the hub for touring bands ...so yeah its a gold mine business just needs the worx !!

Hi gsonique: I'd have to agree somewhat. This time round tho, Malaysians were offered a 10% discount on Slayer tickets! Slowly I'm sure they can start offering packages that include hotel too.
