Hi all. I am experiencing some hum which is getting on my nerves. I am using a Peavey Envoy 110, with an Ibanez. The amp has been grounded, and i am using Canare cables, with Amphenol heads. I use the BOSS Metal Zone on the clean channel. Here's my settings for the pedal: http://grab.by/15ap
But I keep getting this irritating hum when i turn on distortion. I am using the default humbucker that came together with the guitar. I have a recording of the hum but I do not know how to upload it. Any idea? Also, every few seconds, my amp will have this "tiak!" sound. Not v loud, but obvious enough.
Can someone identify the problem and advise on what to do? Thanks.
