ipod problem!

hey people,
do anyone of u face a problem whereby ur ipod cannot be recognized in ur itunes?
i cant put in songs or do anything for mine..
but the ipod will change to its charging mode when it is plugged into the comp.
anyone know how to fix this?
btw, ive already reinstalled itunes and my ipod still cannot be recognized..

uhm, restore your ipod? or try using the latest winamp player to manage your ipod?

have you disabled auto-sync with your ipod?

try resetting your ipod? hold, unhold then press the centre and menu button for approx 6 seconds.

if all else fails, then send to apple to repair.
